Doctors of CHH are always given a free hand in selecting combinations from the ancient texts even if they are not readily available. These formulations are made by the pharmacy attached to the hospital located at a nearby facility.

Apart from special formulations, the hospital out of the Chief Doctors Experience and the family legacy formulates certain special medications and is available based on prescriptions of the doctors at the hospital dispensary counter.

Strict norms are followed in selection, collection, storage, processing, packing, transporting and documenting various datae about the medicines prepared within the pharmacy.

Apart from Inhouse manufacturing, Chennai Heritage Hospital also has a State of Art, GMP certified Ayurveda and siddha manufacturing Unit at nerkundram. This facility is infact the first brain child of Dr.A.Ramalingam and was started in 1989 and with Dr.R.Sivakumars supervision, the facility is upgraded recently and inaugurated in July 2022.
